Base Wage: $54.02 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Acheson, AB.
Schedule: 5x2
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret layouts, blueprints, and work orders.
- Customize mobile equipment or parts to customer specifications.
- Perform welding work in the shop and on-site as required.
- Conduct failure analysis and determine proper repair processes.
- Work safely with minimal supervision in a complex environment.
What You Bring
The successful candidate will be a Welder, Journeyperson with at least 1 year of experience of welding on heavy equipment. Other requirements include:
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Current CWB certification is an asset; must be willing to obtain if not already certified.
- Strong blueprint reading and layout interpretation skills.
- Safety-focused, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
