PEAK POWER RENTALS INC.
Construction Equipment Delivery Driver & Yard Operations
About the Role
Peak Power Rentals is a fast-growing compact equipment rental company serving contractors across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Our drivers are the face of the business — you'll be on jobsites daily, building relationships with contractors, keeping operations running smoothly, and representing a brand that's being built from the ground up.
The Equipment Delivery Driver must have a valid Class 3 BC driver's license with a clean abstract, air brakes endorsement, comfortable driving a truck and trailer, operating boom lifts, scissor lifts, excavators, skid steers, and loading them up onto the trailer. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and room to grow.
What You'll Do
- Deliver and retrieve compact equipment across the Lower Mainland
- Safely load, secure, and transport machines using trailers and proper tie-down procedures
- Interact directly with contractors and site crews — professional, reliable, and personable
- Keep the yard organized: staging, cleaning, fueling, and charging equipment
- Flag customer needs and communicate feedback to the team (upsell awareness, service issues)
- Support daily operations and contribute to a tight, team-first environment
Who We're Looking For
- Must have experience with construction equipment (comfortable operating boom lifts, scissor lifts, excavators, skid steers, and getting them loaded on the trailer)
- A background in construction, trades, hauling, or customer-facing work
- Takes pride in showing up on time and doing the job right
- Is comfortable in a fast-paced, physical, outdoor environment
- Is quick to adapt to new technology apps, platforms, and ways of doing things
- Communicates well with people — whether it's a contractor on a jobsite or your team back at the yard
- Solves problems on the fly
- Is excited by the idea of growing with a company, not just working for one
- Wants to be part of something early-stage and grow with it
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 BC driver's licence with a clean abstract (mandatory)
- Air brakes endorsement
- Experience driving a truck and trailer (loading/unloading)
- Physically capable: lifting, outdoor work, loading and securing equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
Schedule
- Monday to Friday — hours may vary based on operational needs
- Standard hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (starting at our yard in Steveston)
- 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities available
- Occasional weekend availability may be required during peak periods
Compensation & Benefits
- $26–$36 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Team members may be eligible for the employee benefits program upon successful completion of the probationary period
- Performance-based growth opportunities
- Clear path to expanded responsibilities in operations, logistics, or customer-facing roles
- Work directly with founders in a company that's early-stage and moving fast
