Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with HVAC systems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Utilize plumbing, welding, and mechanical skills to modify or repair components as needed
- Assist with boiler maintenance and appliance repairs related to HVAC systems
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance and installation procedures
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service call
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems and appliance repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and construction is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for various mechanical systems
- Mechanic experience that includes working with diverse tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
