Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role involves teaching gymnastics skills to children in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a love for promoting physical activity and confidence through gymnastics. Experience in other relevant fields ( Dance, Cheerleading, Trampoline, Acro, ) is a plus, as it complements our holistic approach to fitness and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to teach and inspire young children to develop their athletic abilities while fostering a fun and positive atmosphere.
Duties
- Conduct engaging gymnastics classes for various age groups, ensuring safety and proper technique.
- Follow our lesson plans that cater to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced students.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to help students understand movements and routines.
- Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and equipment checks.
- Conduct Seasonal Camps and Birthday parties.
- Participate in staff training and meetings.
- Promote a positive attitude towards fitness, teamwork, and personal achievement among participants.
Requirements
- Prior experience in teaching gymnastics or related physical activities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures for gymnastics training.
- Ability to work with children in a friendly, professional manner.
- Certification in gymnastics instruction or related fitness training is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is expected.
- Flexibility to work during scheduled class times, including evenings and weekends as needed.
