Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant functioning in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
- Lead, motivate, and manage restaurant staff including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of supplies
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
- Oversee food service operations including serving, bartending (if applicable), and hospitality services
- Maintain operational reports, control costs, and optimize overall restaurant performance
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Supervising experience with team management skills including interviewing and training staff
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Background in food handling, kitchen operations, and the food industry at large
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial management within a restaurant setting
- Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food industry trends, restaurant management best practices, and hospitality standards
