Property Manager
General Scope
We are a full service property management company, managing property of all sizes. MARDA Management Inc. as a company, provides services that include showing vacancies, screening tenants, signing leases, collecting rent, evicting tenants, fielding tenant requests and complaints and spearheading maintenance requirements and renovation projects of all types.
Specific Accountabilities
The Property Portfolio Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing day to day management of our tenant needs, managing challenging tenant behaviours and escalated rent payment issues. The Property Manager provides support for all members of the Marda management team as needed ensuring top-notch service and effective communication with both property owners and tenants.
Tenant Management
- Address all day-to-day tenant inquiries via phone, text, and email promptly
- Collaborate with client services team to ensure clients are regularly updated as to all rent/damage collection efforts and/or legal steps taken to resolve payment or behavioural issues at their property
- Address any escalated rent collection issues fully
- Manager tenant behavioural issues
- Maintain open and clear communication lines with all stakeholders to ensure full satisfaction and maintain the company’s good standing reputation
Maintenance & Repair
- Collaborate with the maintenance team lead on significant project repairs that impact tenants.
- Possible Participation in the after hours on-call rotation ( approximately once every 6-10 weeks)
Qualifications and skills
- 2-5 years of experience in property management or a related field an asset.
- Proven Client Management capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in use of computers and standard office software
- Knowledge of property management regulations and best practices.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism
- Must have drivers license and vehicle that is available for daily use to execute responsibilities
- Must obtain and submit a police clearance
- May be required to participate in rotating on call shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- property management: 2 years (preferred)
