Lush Lawncare & Landscaping is hiring a dependable Crew Helper / Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our lawn maintenance division. We service residential and commercial properties throughout the York Region and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well with a team, and wants a long-term opportunity.
This is a full-time permanent position with winter work opportunities available for strong performers.
Responsibilities
- Weekly lawn mowing and maintenance
- Grass trimming and edging
- Blowing and cleanup of hard surfaces
- Property inspections and reporting issues
- Loading/unloading equipment and daily truck organization
- Basic garden bed maintenance and cleanup
- Equipment fueling and routine care
- Working efficiently to complete routes on schedule
- Maintaining professional appearance and customer interactions
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or outdoor labour
- Valid Ontario G Licence (required)
- Clean and professional driving habits
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from reporting location
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Assets (Not Required)
- Experience operating:
- Zero-turn mowers
- Stand-on mowers
- Trimmers and backpack blowers
- Experience towing trailers
- Landscape or snow removal experience
- Equipment operation experience
