Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
With a Red Seal Chef as owner, candidates have great access to a learning environment to hone skills, and achieve new ones.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with their deli orders. Answer their questions accurately and politely
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately, handle cash transactions and provide correct change to customers
- Cook soups, salads, savory pies and other prepared food items according to specifications provided
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Follow food safety guidelines in food preparation and handling
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant industry is an asset
- Ability to learn POS systems
- Excellent time management skills and energetic attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
