Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring a smooth flow of food service operations. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team by providing clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware, contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and guests. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workstations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely food delivery
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety compliance
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly
- Adhere to all sanitation policies and procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the establishment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, cooking, or food preparation is a plus
- Prior hospitality or serving experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
