Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza maker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests enjoy delicious, well-prepared meals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items(Pizza & Pasta) according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation practices to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum two years experience in the Pizza & Pasta is required .
- Experience in hand tossed pizza.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
