Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced Hardscaping Labourer to join our team. This role is hands-on including interlocking, concrete, retaining walls, excavation, and other related work. Experience operating equipment is required such as excavators, skid steers and Bobcats and more. Work includes hardscaping projects during the spring through fall seasons, as well as snow removal operations during the winter months.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including grading and excavation for hardscape projects
- Operate excavators, skid steers and Bobcats and other heavy machinery
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Mix and pour concrete, perform concrete finishing, and set forms for various structures
- Perform demolition or restoration work as needed on existing structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous
- Skills in using hand tools, power tools and operating heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators are required
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have a drivers license (G)
- WHMIS training, CPR and First AID are encouraged
