Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, assist with patient care, and ensure smooth daily practice functions. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments
- Packaging and labelling instruments for sterilization.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all supplies are ready
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Paradigm.
- Managing PPE and infection control supplies.
- Assist with sterilization of instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Paradigm.
- Knowledge of orthodontics, Endodontist and general dentistry procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience with CAD systems used for digital imaging or modeling is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and clinical tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Prior experience in dental assisting or related roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
