Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our Winnipeg team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our properties through hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility management for our Winnipeg property management division. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will ensure that our properties operate smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of managed properties to identify and resolve issues as required.
- Prioritize the maintenance and repair tasks.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all repair and installation activities by outside vendors as required.
- Preform basic plumbing ,electrical, clearing snow or ice, and carpentry, tasks as required.
- Control and monitor inventory of parts and supplies.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Respond to after hours emergency calls as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Carpentry ,drywall and painting skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working in all areas of Winnipeg.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Clean criminal record.
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written .

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
