We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher specializing in Vocal, Piano, and Ukulele instruction to join our vibrant educational community in Callingwood. Duties
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate music lessons in vocal, piano, and ukulele techniques.
- Develop personalized lesson plans that align with students’ skill levels and musical interests.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes creativity and confidence.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Incorporate fun activities such as singing games or musical exercises to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain a clean and organized teaching space, ensuring safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching music, particularly vocal, piano, or ukulele instruction.
- Strong background in working with children and understanding of early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students of diverse ages.
- Classroom experience is preferred, along with knowledge of teaching methodologies suitable for young learners.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate musical theory and practical skills.
- Experience with cooking is a plus but not required; a passion for fostering a well-rounded educational environment is essential.
- A genuine passion for music education and the development of young musicians.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in music education are advantageous but not mandatory.
Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
