About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Support Representative to join a dynamic team supporting industrial automation products and solutions. This role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the sales process through order coordination, quoting, and post-sales support.
This is a non-cold-calling role. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth order processing, timely communication, and accurate system updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive pre-sales and post-sales customer support
- Prepare and process customer quotes and purchase orders
- Enter, track, and manage customer orders in the system
- Monitor open orders and coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams for timely fulfillment, including rush orders
- Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner
- Support account managers and sales teams with territory and customer needs
- Maintain accurate customer and order records within the system
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve service issues or order discrepancies
- Support returns, refunds, and order adjustments in coordination with warehouse teams
- Provide updates to management regarding customer concerns or service issues
- Maintain strong knowledge of company products and applications
- Perform other related duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation
- Proficiency with computers and basic mathematical skills
- Experience with NetSuite is an asset (training provided if needed)
- Knowledge of pneumatics or industrial automation products is an asset
Education & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of customer service, sales support, or order coordination experience preferred
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
