Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Finisher/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including finishing, formwork, and restoration tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, including masonry, carpentry, and the operation of power tools and heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with rebar installation, concrete forming, and blueprint reading to ensure accurate project execution
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and moving materials around the job site
- Use carpentry skills for framing, formwork setup, and modifications as needed
- Conduct demolition or removal of old structures as part of renovation projects
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during heavy lifting and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing,
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving heavy lifting
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills
