Staff Accountant II
Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant II is responsible for supporting the accounting team through general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and month-end close activities. This role works closely with the Assistant Controller to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with GAAP.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expense entries.
- Perform general ledger, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory and equipment financing records.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
- Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
- Participate in process improvements and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred.
- CPA designation (or progress toward certification) is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
