Position: Cellphone & Laptop Repair Technician (Board-Level Technician Preferred)
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cellphone & Laptop Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience repairing smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices. A candidate with board-level repair expertise will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Smartphone & Tablet Repairs
Diagnose and repair various smartphone issues including:
Screen replacements
Battery replacements
Charging port repairs
Camera replacements
Speaker, microphone, and earpiece repairs
Water damage diagnostics and repairs
Software issues, boot loops, restore mode, and system errors
Data transfer, backup, and device setup
Repair devices from major brands including Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and other Android devices.
Perform quality checks after every repair to ensure proper functionality.
Laptop & Computer Repairs
Diagnose and repair laptop hardware and software issues including:
Screen replacements
Keyboard and trackpad replacements
Battery and charging issues
DC jack and USB port repairs
SSD/HDD upgrades and replacements
RAM upgrades
Operating system installation and troubleshooting
Virus and malware removal
Data recovery and transfer
Overheating and performance issues
Experience with Windows laptops, MacBooks, and gaming laptops is an asset.
Board-Level Repair Skills (Preferred)
Perform advanced motherboard diagnostics and repairs.
Troubleshoot motherboard-level faults using schematics and board views.
Diagnose and repair:
Short circuits
Power issues
No power/no boot conditions
Charging IC failures
Audio IC issues
Backlight problems
CPU-related faults (experience preferred)
Perform micro-soldering repairs using:
Microscope
Hot air rework station
Soldering iron
DC power supply
Multimeter and other diagnostic tools
Replace and rework small components including IC chips, capacitors, resistors, connectors, and filters.
Technical Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in cellphone and laptop repair preferred.
Strong knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting methods.
Ability to diagnose problems accurately and recommend cost-effective repair solutions.
Experience working with Apple and Android devices.
Familiarity with repair tools, schematics, and diagnostic software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs efficiently.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Customer Service Requirements:
Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Explain repair issues and solutions clearly to customers.
Provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.
Maintain honesty and transparency when recommending repairs.
Handle customer devices with care and respect.
Additional Qualifications (Assets):
Board-level/micro-soldering certification or equivalent experience.
Experience repairing gaming laptops and MacBooks.
Knowledge of data recovery techniques.
Experience with refurbished devices and device testing.
Ability to train junior technicians.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and skill level. Board-level repair expertise and advanced troubleshooting abilities will be considered an advantage.
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
