Summary
We are seeking a Cleaner to join our team at Glacier Maintenance. This part time position is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at a factory location in Haley Station.
Reports to: Area Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow established cleaning procedures/supply replenishment and safety protocols to areas such as washrooms, lunchrooms, hallways, offices, common areas and other tasks as required.
- Use of auto scrubber - this can be trained.
- Waxing floors, carpet cleaning
- Following all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties effectively.
- Steel toed footwear
- A Clean criminal background required, a CPIC will be required prior to start date.
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Rate: $19.00/hr
