Job Overview

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Assist with restaurant setup, cleanup, and sanitation tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry environment is preferred
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with customers and staff
