We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
