Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented front desk agent to join our hospitality team. The Front Desk plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and safeguarding hotel assets. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills and a background in hospitality to contribute to a welcoming environment during the shift. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in front desk operations, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently.
Duties
. Provide superior guest service, assist guests with check-in and check-out and handle all guest account transactions.
· Answer telephone calls in a clear, friendly manner and assist callers over the telephone.
· Reservation duties range from assisting callers with booking reservations, maintaining Hotel room rates and maximizing Hotel revenues.
· Provide information on hotel facilities, services and the surrounding areas.
· Address guest concerns and issues.
· Complete daily check list and other assigned duties and tasks.
· Maintain float and complete shift audits.
· Follow emergency and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest management software is advantageous
- Knowledge of hotel procedures, guest services, and hospitality standards preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality training is a plus
