Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AML Analyst with hands-on Verafin expertise, including system implementation and optimization. The role focuses on supporting transaction monitoring, alert investigation, and the implementation of Verafin solutions to enhance AML compliance and detection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support the deployment of Verafin AML solutions, including system configuration and onboarding
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Verafin detection scenarios and models to identify suspicious activities
- Participate in system implementation activities such as requirement gathering, testing, and go-live support
- Perform scenario tuning and threshold adjustments based on risk assessments and regulatory changes
- Monitor and review transaction alerts generated in Verafin to identify potential fraud or money laundering
- Investigate alerts and escalate cases, including preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
- Conduct system testing (UAT/QA) for new configurations, updates, and enhancements
- Analyze alert trends, volumes, and system performance to recommend improvements
- Collaborate with compliance, IT, and business stakeholders during implementation and ongoing operations
- Ensure system configurations align with AML regulatory requirements and internal policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Verafin (implementation, configuration, or transaction monitoring)
- Strong knowledge of AML / BSA regulations and financial crime compliance
- Experience with system implementation lifecycle (requirements, testing, deployment)
- Analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in alert investigation, case management, and reporting
- Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in banking, financial services, or consulting environments
- Exposure to AML system implementations or upgrades
- Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, or integration processes

Pay: $90.00-$95.00 per hour
