Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cross-border Bookkeeper to join a small industrial entity. This role involves managing financial records across borders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in bookkeeping and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software (particularly QBO) and possess excellent organizational skills to support our international operations. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify financial data accuracy
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting to support business decision-making
- Ensure compliance with cross-border tax regulations and international financial standards
- Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors as needed
- Support payroll processing and related reporting tasks for international employees or contractors
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable/receivable, and account reconciliation techniques
- Experience with payroll processing within an international context is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data effectively and prepare comprehensive reports
- Familiarity with cross-border tax regulations, currency conversions, and international finance practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment
