FIRE PROTECTION TECHNICIANS
Preference will be given to those with an already established electrical/instrumentation trade ticket, a related mechanical background and/or with previous experience working with/on large-scale mine equipment fire protection systems. Ward’s has been in business for 24 years now and has achieved a reputation for being the Premier Fire Protection System provider for large-scale mining equipment in the business and sells and maintains more Kidde fire protection systems of this kind than any other supplier in North America.
HYDRAULIC TECHNICIANS
As a hydraulic technician you have worked in a hydraulic repair shop environment for 3 years or longer. You will be required to build hoses, disassemble repair and service hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors and ideally you should also have the ability to perform simple hydraulic calculations such as pump displacements and HP required to operate a system, troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and be able to read hydraulic system schematic drawings.
