Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using our Toast POS system.
- Prepare and serve food items, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts with basic math skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food preparation stations and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods while providing attentive customer service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service.
Experience
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or similar cash register technology.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or kitchen support is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
