La Fogata Mexicana is a family-owned restaurant passionate about serving authentic Mexican food with outstanding customer service. We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Restaurant Team Member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn different areas of restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders in person, over the phone, and through delivery platforms.
- Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Prepare drinks and assist with plating and garnishing dishes.
- Help with light food preparation and assist the kitchen when needed.
- Restock beverages, supplies, and ingredients throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the manager to support daily restaurant operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required we are happy to train the right person. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a team.
English is required. Because many of our team members and customers speak Spanish, bilingual applicants are an asset. However, Spanish is not required, and we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and contribute to our team. Weekend availability is preferred.
Important
This is a multi-role position. Team members rotate between different responsibilities throughout the restaurant, including customer service, cashier, serving, preparing drinks, plating dishes, restocking, and assisting the kitchen when needed. We are looking for someone who is flexible, enjoys learning new skills, and is willing to help wherever needed.

- Pay is based on experience, performance, and willingness to learn. Entry-level team members will start at minimum wage, with opportunities to earn up to $20.00/hour based on performance, growth, and experience.
