Extreme Machine is a growing manufacturing/fabrication company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Laborer, Saw Cutter, Shipper & Receiver and light maintenance to join our team.
Position Overview
This multi role combines saw cutting responsibilities, shipping and receiving duties, forklift operation and light maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for saw cutting metal materials accurately to specifications while also ensuring smooth and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Saw Cutting
· Operate saws and other cutting equipment to process metal materials according to work orders
· Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise tolerances
· Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or cut lists
· Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality standards
· Maintain equipment in safe and proper working condition
Shipping & Receiving
· Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately and securely
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and deliveries
· Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas
· Load and unload trucks safely (forklift certification an asset)
· Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
· Housekeeping.
Maintenance
· Light maintenance of machining equipment
Machining (extra asset)
· Manufacturing parts in accordance with specifications
· Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
· Perform basic manual machining practices. Turning, boring, drilling.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in saw cutting, machine operation, or shipping/receiving preferred
· Strong measuring and math skills with attention to accuracy
· Ability to read and interpret drawings and work orders
· Forklift or material handling experience an asset (training available)
· Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials as required
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Safety-minded and team player
Additional pay:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
