Abbey Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Client Care Specialist to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, compassionate, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional client and patient care.
As the first point of contact for our clients, the Client Care Specialist plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and supportive experience for both pets and their people.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a medical team
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate during stressful situations
- Experience in veterinary medicine is considered an asset
- Experience with appointment scheduling and client communication preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and patients warmly upon arrival
- Scheduling appointments and managing daily workflow
- Collecting accurate patient and client information
- Communicating clearly with the veterinary and medical support team
- Supporting client education and discussing wellness programs and services
- Managing phone calls, emails, payments, and medical records
- Maintaining a clean, professional, and welcoming reception area
- Supporting forward booking and continuity of care initiatives
