Rodd Charlottetown Hotel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This position plays an essential role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and linen quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items in accordance with established standards
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain inventory of linens and report shortages or damage
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and soiled linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist other departments as needed to support overall hotel operations
Key Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or laundry experience is considered an asset; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of bending, lifting, and moving loads up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
