Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. Open availability sunday through saturday. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service, maintaining the bakery's cleanliness, and ensuring the quality of baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, experience in food handling, and a strong commitment to safety standards. Previous experience in customer service and cash handling (POS). This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic bakery setting where teamwork and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with selections of baked goods and other products
- Prepare and package bakery items with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Restock shelves and display cases to ensure products are attractive and available
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including cleaning counters and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols during food handling.

- Ensure proper packaging of products for takeout or delivery orders
- MUST BE AVAILABLE SATURDAYS AND SUNDAY.
- rotating shifts between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm
Skills
- Prior customer service experience is a strong advantage
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Understanding of food handling safety standards and food safety regulations
- Ability to operate POS system and cash handling.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
