Overview
Micheless Landscaping is currently seeking experienced Forepersons and Lead Hands to join our Landscape Maintenance Division.
As part of our Landscape Maintenance team, you will perform a wide range of tasks to support the upkeep and care of parks, golf courses, and various projects throughout Calgary.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure timely completion of projects
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
- Manage irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency
- Implement horticultural best practices for plant health and landscape sustainability
- Lead construction activities such as grading, paving, or installing features like patios or retaining walls
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members regarding project progress and requirements
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring proper operation and safety standards are met
- Operation of equipment such as a push mower, trimmer, blower
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape or construction projects
- Strong background in gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with construction activities related to outdoor environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in outdoor construction settings

Experience:
- Sod,Mulching,Trees,Fertilizer,Flowers, Shrubs: 2 years (required)
- Supervisory: 2 years (required)
- Landscape: 2 years (required)
- Maintenance: 2 years (required)
- Landscape Foreman: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required) and a good drivers abstract.
Location:
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chestermere, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
