We are currently hiring on behalf of one of our valued clients for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their growing Finance team.

Position Summary
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will play a key role in supporting the organization's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting functions. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will provide financial insights, develop forecasting models, analyze business performance, and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare executive-level financial reporting packages, including:
- Budget vs. Actual analysis
- Forecast updates
- Variance analysis
- KPI reporting
- Margin and profitability analysis
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare weekly revenue forecasts and cash flow reports.
- Produce market-specific Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial performance reports.
- Maintain forecasting tools and support pricing updates within the ERP system.
- Perform CAD and USD bank reconciliations and assist with cash management reporting.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and inventory analysis.
- Conduct financial modelling, business case analysis, valuation assessments, and strategic ad hoc projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiencies.
- Support senior leadership by providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- CPA designation (Required).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Corporate Finance.
- Strong knowledge of:

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains ERP).
- Experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SQL or other database reporting tools.
- Familiarity with AI-powered analytics or automation tools.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment is considered an asset.
