Delivery Van Drivers (G-Class Driver's License)
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional Delivery Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid G-Class driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with moving and heavy lifting.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, including heavy or bulky packages, utilizing appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including moving inventory and organizing stock as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or delivery services is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically handle moving tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse activities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Note: Candidate must be authorized to work Full Time for any employer in Canada.
Location: Scarborough & Etobicoke
Pay: $190.00 per day
