Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. This role requires strong leadership skills, restaurant management experience, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for guests. The Front of House Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising staff, managing customer interactions, and ensuring smooth service flow in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food preparation, serving, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Manage Clover POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist in restaurant tasks such as inventory control, and scheduling
- Support kitchen staff when necessary with food preparation or service duties during busy periods
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes teamwork and hospitality excellence
Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills
- Working weekends and holiday seasons
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or hospitality industry
- Previous roles involving customer service, serving, or hotel experience are highly desirable
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling regulations is advantageous
- Experience with beverage service or bar operations is a plus during our summer patio season
