Responsibilities
· Complete training by familiarize oneself with Young Engineer’s hardware and course material, ensure compliance with the teacher training manual, classroom procedures and policies
· Using Young Engineer’s materials to conduct classes – pay attention to individual student to help them with learning process; organize fun games in class
· Oversee implementation of Young Engineer’s materials, ensuring that it meets the diverse needs of all students
· Ensure compliance with franchisee’s standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all learners
· Transportation of class materials from storage to the classroom; clean-up and pack away classroom materials for transport back to storage
Required and Preferred Qualifications
· Local experienced teachers or instructors (part time) are greatly preferred
· Energetic and passionate about educating Grade 1 to 8 children is required.
· Must have car & able to drive.
· Will be available for summer program (Weekdays – 10 am to 3 pm) & Weekends (from 10AM-5PM)
· Eagerness to learn - Prior knowledge of robotics/coding is preferred. Training will be provided to candidate.
Competitive compensation of $18-$25/hour based on experience and ability.
A successful candidate must be able to provide a Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector check, and be legally allowed to work in Canada. Candidate with High FIVE certificate is preferred.
