Job Opportunity: Building Superintendent Couple
Location: North York | Full-Time Position
Miramar Property Management is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaner / Building Superintendent team couple preferred to assist with the daily operations, maintenance, and cleaning of residential and commercial properties in the GTA. This is a hands-on position requiring reliability, professionalism, and the ability to ensure buildings remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of common areas, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and exterior grounds
- Complete routine maintenance tasks (minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs)
- Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergencies
- Conduct regular building inspections and report deficiencies to property management
- Ensure waste disposal, recycling, and bulk garbage handling are completed properly
- Coordinate with trades and contractors as directed by management
- Maintain supplies and keep mechanical/storage areas clean and organized
- Be open to on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a superintendent, cleaner, or building maintenance role (residential/commercial)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle basic repairs and building upkeep independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with tenants and management
- Couple applicants preferred for shared responsibilities and coverage
- Availability for after-hours emergencies and on-call duties as required
