Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile, self-motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded builder who takes pride in detailed work across framing, drywall, trim, and general finishing. While primary duties focus on carpentry, flexibility to assist with painting, prep work, and other site needs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall, doors, trim, cabinetry, and hardware installation.
- Prepare site surfaces, perform minor repairs, and assist with painting/finishing when required.
- Interpret plans, blueprints, and project scopes to execute work accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site; supervise and mentor junior laborers/helpers on site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and sub-trades.
- Use apps and other software to obtain project information, post photos etc.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Red Seal or Journeyman Carpentry ticket (or equivalent proven industry experience).
- Strong, well-rounded background in residential/commercial construction.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal work vehicle
- Standard hand and battery tools.
- Willingness to perform general trades tasks (painting, prep, demo) as project demands dictate.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: $45.00 per hour
