Position Overview:
TCE is currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our Fabrication Shop and field operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys a variety of work, challenging projects, and working alongside highly experienced fabricators.
We are looking for motivated individuals with strong fabrication experience, particularly in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW). Our projects provide opportunities to apply and expand your skills while contributing to high-quality industrial and structural fabrication work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks in-shop and on-site
- Complete FCAW, MIG, Stick, and/or TIG welding as required
- Fabricate and repair steel and aluminum components
- Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently when required
Qualifications:
- 7+ years extensive flux core heavy welding experience with either heavy plate or structural steel
- Graduated from a college welding course / school
- 7+ years of experience in heavy industrial projects
- Strong FCAW welding experience required
- Experience with steel and aluminum fabrication
- Current welding tickets/certifications in all of the following
- MIG
- Stick
- TIG
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
