Make an impact with our Forensics & Litigation Support team as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals combines accounting and investigative expertise to protect clients’ assets and reputation. As a trusted advisor, you’ll implement anti-fraud controls and resolve fraud emergencies, reducing clients’ exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing.

Responsibilities
- Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes
- Draft and execute investigative plans on sensitive litigious matters, objectively analyze complex financial matters
- Draft clear, well-supported investigative reports, working papers and findings, ensuring all conclusions are supported by documented evidence and articulated rationale
- Organize and maintain evidence files in a structured, logical and auditable manner to support regulatory, legal and internal review processes
- Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (engagement letters, budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
- Plan and execute interviews, data analysis and document reviews as part of complex investigations and litigation matters
- Lead and support proactive forensic engagements, including fraud risk assessments, fraud risk management reviews and control enhancement initiatives
- Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and tracing funds/accounts
- Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Maintain high quality, defensible work product, applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Master of Forensic Accounting (MFAcc) is considered an asset
- CPA and CFE designation
- 6 to 7 years of public accounting experience; advisory or consulting experience is considered an asset
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial matters into clear, concise and defensible reports
- Experience organizing, analyzing and synthesizing large volumes of financial and documentary evidence
- Experience performing fraud risk assessments, control reviews or forensic advisory services is considered an asset
- Experience in business and practice development
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work both independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program

The annual salary range for this position is: $90,000–$140,000.
