Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker (Const) to join our team and contribute to various building and infrastructure projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in heavy equipment operation, paving, and construction. Duties
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist in site preparation and material handling
- Assist with paving projects, including laying asphalt and concrete surfaces according to specifications
- Perform general construction tasks including site clearing, foundation work, and structural assembly
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met
Qualifications
- Prior experience or training in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of paving techniques and construction processes is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and guidelines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license is beneficial for transporting equipment or materials to job sites
