Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. Candidates should possess a valid commercial driver’s license and have experience with heavy equipment operation and freight handling. Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Assist in warehouse operations including freight handling and inventory management when required
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and freight handling preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience with freight logistics or warehouse operations is advantageous

Pay: $19.95-$36.50 per hour
