Job Summary
We are seeking for a cabinet maker/installer helper to join our cabinetry and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction. This role involves helping with building custom cabinets and furniture, helping with cabinet installation on site, and helping with finish carpentry work on site.
Duties
- Assist with cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing custom cabinets using hand tools, power tools and other woodworking equipment.
- Assist with installing baseboard, casing and doors.
- Measure accurately and ensure all components meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
- Assist with other related construction tasks (material deliveries etc)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in cabinetry making or woodworking would be advantage
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and other woodworking equipment would be advantage
- Knowledge of construction trades is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work will be mainly on job sites through out Calgary.
Mon to Fri
8 hour shifts with start at 8:00AM
Both part time and full-time positions available.
Salary based on experience.
Looking to hire for immediate start.
