Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Vac Truck operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in driving and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain vacuum trucks to clean out sewers, storm drains, and other waste systems
- Drive vacuum trucks to job sites and ensure safety while in transit
- Connect hoses and pipes to designated areas to start the cleaning process
- Monitor vacuum levels and adjust as needed to prevent equipment damage
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Complete paperwork and log all maintenance and cleaning activities
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure job requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (DZ) with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Minimum 1 year experience required operating Vacuum trucks.
***This is a part time position to start and will transition to full time***
Looking for a responsible team leader with experience that can grow this section of the business. Wage will be determined by experience and leadership skills.
