Job Description
We are looking to add to our kitchen team. The ideal candidates thrives on working in a fast past environment as part of a professional team. Primary focus will be the execution of the menu and the restaurant kitchen operations according to Culaccino standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory, food and culinary labour costs• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays• Passionate about food and willing to constantly learn• Ensure consistency of quality, portion control and plated presentation• Ensure recipe adherence in kitchen execution of all products served• Adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a high-volume casual dining restaurant – preferably Italian• Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality • Red Seal Certification and/or Food Handler’s Certification• An above average and creative understanding of food and knife skills• Excellent knowledge of food, food handling and preparation• A Positive attitude
