Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events to ensure seamless experiences for our clients and guests. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality and customer service. The Event Coordinator will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable events that meet or exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with F&B Manager to understand the event and their event needs, preferences, and budgets. Review BEO's.
- Organize - schedule, timelines, layouts, and vendor coordination
- Manage all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with F&B manager, chef, servers and meeting/event host to ensure event goes off smoothly.
- Oversee and assist with servers during events to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance
- Maintain proper scheduling to stay within financial parameters.
- Handle on-site logistics such as staffing, equipment setup, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors throughout the planning process
Requirements
- Experience in event planning, hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel management
- Excellent guest services skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Exceptional customer service orientation with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in restaurant or hotel settings is highly desirable
- Proserve Certification, ability to mix and serve drinks
- Experience in inventory counts, including alcohol.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
