Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects including restoration, renovation, flooring installation, and new construction. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and trowels to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning materials.
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration, and renovation work as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Use carpentry skills for framing, form construction, and modifications during projects.
- Apply welding techniques when required for structural support or repairs.
- Assist with the installation of flooring and other finishing touches post-concrete curing.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling tools and disposing of debris.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy equipment operation, and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, caulking, welding, and flooring installation.
- Strong understanding of restoration and renovation processes within the construction industry.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with hand tools and construction equipment is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Prior construction experience with knowledge of schematics is preferred.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
