Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment
- Follow repair manuals, schematics, and technical specifications to complete repairs
- Inspect vehicles for additional repairs or maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair recommendations
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Skills:
- Dealership experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Proficient in various automotive repair tasks, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Knowledge of welding techniques for automotive applications is a plus
- Familiarity with assembling and disassembling vehicle components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs
