Under the supervision of our Executive Chef, the successful candidate will maintain the highest standards of quality and learn from the best. Responsibilities include preparation and presentation of all menu items.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all menu items accurately and promptly with attention to detail ensuring final products adhere to standards
- Ensure the work area, utensils, and equipment are always clean and ready for use
- Observe all health and safety regulations and legislation pertaining to food preparation
- Provide ideas for new methods and recipes
- Ensure enough product is prepared and kept ready for service by doing line checks regularly
- Control waste and spillage by monitoring product usage and orders
- Perform all opening and closing assignments as instructed
- Restock low items as required during the shift
- Maintain excellent communication with all team members
- Provide an exceptional guest experience
Qualifications:
- Creative and passionate about cooking
- 2 Years’ experience (preferred)
- Must work well in a team environment
- Cook Trade Certification is considered an asset
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and working under pressure
- Able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including holidays, weeknights, and weekends
