Position summary
Department / Research Program: Child Health and Human Development Program (CHHD)
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and independent individual to join our dynamic research team in the field of renal genetics. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and the project’s Genetic Counsellor, the incumbent will support a studies focused on the implementation of genetic services in hereditary kidney disease.
General Duties
- Assisting in the development of study protocols, consent forms, questionnaires, and other study documents,
- Assisting with ethics submissions and amendments,
- Assisting with participant recruitment, data collection, and storing of study documents according to the research protocol,
- Ensure proper and efficient documentation and research organization in a timely manner,
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of abstracts and manuscripts,
- Conduct literature reviews and assist with knowledge synthesis activities.

Education / Experience
Education: Master's Degree
Field of Study: Sciences or health
Other education considered an asset for this position: Bachelor’s degree will be considered with relevant research experience.
Work Experience: Experience in clinical research is an asset.
Required Skills
- This position requires an advanced knowledge of oral and written French.
- An advanced knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients, researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English. The position also requires complex writing or in-depth analysis of documents in English related to a research project.
Additional information
Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Work Site: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Blvd.
- This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote).
